About Us

Hello, my name is Dymphna. My husband and I and our two little boys, Aubrey Wylde and Wyndham Blake, have recently moved from the big smoke to a picturesque village in the Stroud valleys. Having worked in fashion as a pattern cutter for the past 10 years I decided it was time for a change of direction and have focused my attention on my other love, interiors.

I make handmade bespoke curtains, blinds, soft furnishings and homeware. I'm very interested in using sustainable materials as much as possible and place a huge emphasis on making items that will last and be used and loved for years to come.

With our Christmas collection, I was keen to develop a Christmas Cracker that would be able to help combat the millions of single-use crackers that are produced every year. It's estimated that over 40 million crackers ended up in the bin on December 25th last year, along with most of the gifts that come inside, many of which are made from plastic or not made to last. The festive season creates more plastic waste than any other time of year. My crackers are all made from linen sourced from mills with high eco-credentials and are all Oeko-Tex certified. Most importantly they're made to last and be reused year after year. They can be filled with thoughtful personalised gifts which hopefully will not end up in the bin at the end of the day.

It's the small changes that we can all make that have a big impact.
